New Accounts: Once a request to open a credit account has been made, you must provide us with all the information we request (please see our application for credit account form) and we will make a search with a credit reference agency. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to grant, refuse or discontinue any credit facilities or reduce or suspend any credit limit at any time.

Account Customers: All accounts are on a net monthly basis – payment due on last day of the month following the one in which the invoice is dated. Meetens Limited is entitled to charge interest (Bank of England base rate plus eight per cent for each overdue day). If legal action is taken to recover monies due to us then we reserve the right to charge you an administrative fee of £50.00 (minimum) plus vat to cover all and any administrative costs incurred. The administrative charge shall become payable immediately legal action is commenced and shall be claimed within the said legal action. Meetens Limited reserve the right to withhold deliveries of goods and services until arrears of payment have been settled, and /or to require payment in full in advance for all further goods, before making possible any future deliveries.

Non-Account Customers: Payment in full is required before your order is despatched or collected.

Payment: Wherever possible all accounts to be paid by the BACS system – bank account details will be provided when the new account has been set up.

Trade Discount: Discount is only applicable to orders where the goods have a value of £30.00 or more (excluding delivery cost and vat). All goods under the value of £30.00 are net. All repairs and services are net. Meetens Limited do not impose a minimum order requirement, £30.00 is only the point at which discount may be calculated.
Meetens Limited reserve the right to sell certain items at net prices and not give discounts.

Delivery Costs: These are in addition to the cost of goods. We will advise you of the full delivery cost prior to despatching your order.

Cancellation: Should an order be cancelled, the customer must accept liability for all charges incurred up to the date of cancellation if any have been incurred.

Return of unwanted or incorrectly ordered items: All goods returned, inspected and approved for refund will incur a 20% (minimum) handling charge against orders which have been correctly executed. This charge can vary according to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer concerned. This is beyond Meetens Limited control and you will have been advised prior to acceptance of order. Carriage charges are not refundable under these circumstances. Please return within 21 days of delivery. We require that the Customer must take all reasonable care to ensure that the goods being returned are in the same condition as when supplied.

Data Protection: We comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 relating to the holding of personal data.

Title of Goods: All goods are sold on the understanding that they remain the property of Meetens Limited until paid for in full. We are entitled to repossess from yourselves or any Receiver or Liquidator in the event of non-payment.

Changes: We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions of sale without notice.

The law: These terms and conditions are governed by English Law.
